When I told my friends it would be a very long night for me, I wasn't kidding. Mum and I stayed up packing the suit cases until 3 in the morning but the surprising thing is, I feel fine after 3 hours of sleep!
The main thing I was worried about was not being able to fit all of our clothes. In the end, we somehow packed so efficiently that the suitcases ended up being half empty so then it came down to a free for all throw in of clothes between mum and I. Dad was sleeping. Suffice to say, I should be just fine for the next 5 weeks.
To all my friends reading this blog and to all of those who aren't, I just want to say that I'm going to miss you all so terribly. Five weeks is quite a long time, I'm afraid of coming back and finding that things have changed but I suppose that is inevitable. Take care of yourselves, eat lots of oranges and always be happy.
...just like this little Mongolian girl and her camel! (I love this photo).
Next time you'll be hearing from me in Hong Kong, so keep checking for updates! Although I can't promise they'll be interesting.
